Hi! Welcome to Intrepidus Vita. We are three humans and three frenchtons living part time in Washington State and part time in Intrepidus, our 2003 International School Bus. We originally got into bus life in 2018 when circumstances required us to look at alternative methods of embracing life. Further circumstances later that year, and continuing since then, have turned a weekend lifestyle into a full blown way of life. We run a Postgres Consulting Company together, travel, experience new places and people, and try our darndest to encourage others to get out of their own way. We have a heavy focus on serving others and providing opportunities where we are able. We work, live, and hobby on the road, and despite the teenager’s griping, we are better for it, and have a fuller life.
In 2020, Amanda was diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) and then re-diagnosed as Hypermobile in 2022. Amanda has also been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, and Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS). In a nutshell: Rare, degenerative disorders that cause chronic pain and fatigue. In an effort to see and experience places she may not be able to sooner than later, the family is currently on a coast to coast and border to border trip. You can follow Amanda’s journey directly.
Thank you for taking a minute to get to know us and our mission.
